The story
Most cooking products begin before the first ingredient is chopped. Fix This Dish begins at the messier, more human moment afterward: dinner is already in the pan, something feels wrong, and another recipe will not help.
The cook photographs the dish. The app identifies one practical move, explains the visible evidence and uncertainty, guides up to three steps, then asks for an after photo. The cook supplies the taste verdict the camera cannot know. The result is a real before-and-after lesson, not an endless chat.
“Recipes tell you what should happen. Fix This Dish understands what is happening to your food right now.”

Fix This Dish is not a recipe database, calorie scanner, or generic chatbot. The camera is the home screen. The app prioritizes one intervention, distinguishes evidence from inference, lets taste override vision, avoids unsupported food-safety claims, and closes every rescue with a rescan.
